This section describes the WIN call and<br \/>\nservice logic processing in terms of call modeling and modeling of<br \/>\nservice logic processing.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Call modeling provides a high-level service, vendor, and<br \/>\nimplementation independent abstraction of WIN call and connection<br \/>\nprocessing in the SSF\/CCF. This abstraction provides an observable<br \/>\nview of SSF\/CCF activities and resources to the SCF, enabling the<br \/>\nSCF to interact with the SSF in the course of executing service<br \/>\nlogic.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The modeling of service logic processing provides an<br \/>\nabstraction of SCF activities needed to support this service logic<br \/>\nexecution, as well as an abstraction of SRF and SDF activities and<br \/>\nresources accessible to the SCF.<\/p>\n<p>Since this modeling only provides an observable (i.e., external)<br \/>\nview of SSF\/CCF, SCF, SRF and SDF activities and resources, this<br \/>\nmodeling does not imply an obligation to vendors to implement<br \/>\nfunctional entities into products as a one-to-one mapping of<br \/>\nfunctional entity model components.
