The SNDCP<br \/>\nfunctions include multiplexing of several packet-data protocols,<br \/>\ncompression and decompression of user data, compression and<br \/>\ndecompression of protocol control information, segmentation of a<br \/>\nnetwork protocol data unit (N-PDU) into logical link control<br \/>\nprotocol data units (LL-PDUs), and reassembly of LL-PDUs into an<br \/>\nN-PDU.<\/p>\n<p>TIA\/EIA-136-334 was developed by TR-45.3.2, the Data Services<br \/>\nWorking Group of TR-45.3, the TIA TDMA <i>Wireless Standards<br \/>\nSubcommittee<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>This document references publications developed by ETSI<br \/>\n(European Telecommunications Standards Institute).
