This British Standard specifies two types of graduated flask suitable for use in sugar analysis.

Material, dimensions, construction, graduation, tolerances on capacity, and inscriptions, for: Type 1 with two graduation marks, in three sizes (50/55 ml, 100/110 ml and 200/220 ml) for analysis of sugar factory juices; Type 2 with one graduation mark, in one size (100 ml) designed for greater accuracy in determining sugar polarization.
