Also, transport, assembly, dismantling, disabling and scrapping phases have been taken into account.<\/p>\n<p>It is also applicable to machines fitted with one or more of the following devices\/additional working units, whose hazards have been dealt with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>transversal sanding unit;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>cleaning brushing unit;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>satining roller unit;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>disk brushing unit;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>texturing brushing roller unit;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>texturing brushing belt unit;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>cutterblock unit;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>texturing band saw unit;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>spiked roller unit;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>antistatic bars unit;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>conveyor directly controlled by the machine;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>additional work piece vacuum clamping device.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;1\n <\/div>\n<p>antistatic bar is a device that eliminates electrostatic charges on the workpiece to ease its subsequent cleaning from dust by airflow.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The machines are designed to calibrate and\/or sand workpieces, in shape of panels or beams, consisting of:<\/p>\n<ol type=\"a\">\n<li>\n<p>solid wood;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>material with similar physical characteristics to wood (see <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">ISO&nbsp;19085-1:2021<\/span>, 3.2<\/span>);<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>gypsum boards, gypsum bounded fibreboards;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>composite materials with core consisting of e.g. polyurethane or mineral material;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>composite boards made from the materials listed above;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>all materials listed above, also already lacquered.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This document does not deal with hazards related to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>specific devices other than those listed above;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>access through in-feed and out-feed openings of machines with a work piece height capacity greater than 550&nbsp;mm;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>systems for powered loading and\/or unloading of the work piece to\/from a single machine;<\/p>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n    NOTE&nbsp;2\n   <\/div>\n<p>Loading the machine manually includes manually placing the work piece onto a conveyor directly controlled by the machine. Unloading the machine manually includes manually removing the work piece from a conveyor directly controlled by the machine.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>interfacing of the machine with any other machine.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is not applicable to machines intended for use in potentially explosive atmosphere and to machines manufactured prior to the date of its publication.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>BS EN ISO 19085-8.
