The data may also be used to estimate the mean<br \/>\nloading induced by other gas or liquid flows over paraboloidal<br \/>\nshapes. The data apply for solid or perforated-surfaced<br \/>\nparaboloidal antennas with focal length\/diameter ratios between<br \/>\n0.15 and 0.5 and with minimal backup and support structures. The<br \/>\neffects of backup and support structures and of other nearby<br \/>\nantennas are discussed briefly. Also discussed are the effects of<br \/>\nturbulence, shear flow and hysteresis of the flow.
