Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n 1.1<\/span> This test method is applicable to the isotopic analysis of uranium hexafluoride (UF6<\/span><\/sub>) with 235<\/sup>U concentrations less than or equal to 5\u2009% and \u2009234<\/sup>U, \u2009 236<\/sup>U concentrations of 0.0002 to 0.1\u2009%.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n 1.2<\/span> This test method may be applicable to the analysis of the entire range of \u2009235<\/sup>U isotopic compositions providing that adequate Certified Reference Materials (CRMs or traceable standards) are available.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n 1.3<\/span> This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
