{"id":282116,"date":"2024-10-19T19:04:09","date_gmt":"2024-10-19T19:04:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/bs-en-167382015\/"},"modified":"2024-10-25T15:45:56","modified_gmt":"2024-10-25T15:45:56","slug":"bs-en-167382015","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/bsi\/bs-en-167382015\/","title":{"rendered":"BS EN 16738:2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This European standard specifies a test method for the determination of emissions resulting from the use of combustible air fresheners into indoor air by means of chamber operation according to <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;ISO&nbsp;16000\u20119<\/span> <\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>This standard defines specific testing conditions for the measurement of the emissions from combustible air fresheners which minimize the effect of the testing on the combustion process.<\/p>\n<p>This standard provides a measurement method for the determination of the following non-exhaustive list of target substances emitted directly from the burning process:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>VOC;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Benzene;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Naphthalene;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Formaldehyde.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The measurement method can allow the determination of other substances.<\/p>\n<p>This standard provides additional information on the optional measurement of the following substances:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>SO <sub>2<\/sub>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>NO <sub>x<\/sub>;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>CO.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This standard is not suitable for the quantitative determination of particulate matter.<\/p>\n<p>This standard does not apply to non-combustible air fresheners and loose incenses.<\/p>\n<p>Any scented candle with burning time shorter than 2,5&nbsp;h is outside the scope of the standard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Emission safety of combustible air fresheners.
