{"id":556785,"date":"2024-11-05T18:16:04","date_gmt":"2024-11-05T18:16:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/uncategorized\/eia-rs-443-1979\/"},"modified":"2024-11-05T18:16:04","modified_gmt":"2024-11-05T18:16:04","slug":"eia-rs-443-1979","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/pdfstandards.shop\/product\/publishers\/ecia\/eia-rs-443-1979\/","title":{"rendered":"EIA RS-443-1979"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The intent and purpose of this document is to:<\/p>\n<p>(1) Establish a standard reference for determining and defining<br \/>\nparameters needed to specify ac Solid State Relays (SSR) and Hybrid<br \/>\nSolid State Relays (HSSR) which employ a single isolated input and<br \/>\nare designed for switching of ac lines with maximums of 500 Hz in<br \/>\nfrequency, 300 Vac in voltage and 50 amperes in current.<\/p>\n<p>(2) Develop uniform methods and techniques for measuring these<br \/>\nparameters.<\/p>\n<p>This standard does not encompass relays that are designed for<br \/>\nsensing or performing special logic (e.g. timers, current or<br \/>\nvoltage sensors, proximity switches, etc.), In the case of conflict<br \/>\nbetween this general standard and any individual standard or detail<br \/>\nrelay specification, the individual specification shall govern.<\/p>\n<p>Several new classifications of relay types have been developed<br \/>\nand standardized in recent years. These new types are distinguished<br \/>\nprimarily by the physical principles employed in their switching<br \/>\nfunctions which have been made possible by utilization of solid<br \/>\nstate devices and technology.
