Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1<\/span> The purpose of this guide is to address the basic fundamental subject knowledge activities and functions for avionics professionals to be titled Aircraft Instrument Systems (AIS) Technician.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.2<\/span> This guide is the basis for the Aircraft Instrument Systems certification, an endorsement to the Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) certification. Candidates must be a certified AET to take the certification exam associated with this guide.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
