The PAS is described in <span class=\"std\"> <span class=\"std-ref\">EN&nbsp;16334<\/span> <\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;3\n <\/div>\n<p>The communication device is different from the PAS, but it can share some parts of the PAS to achieve its functionalities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"non-normative-note\">\n<div class=\"note-label\">\n  NOTE&nbsp;4\n <\/div>\n<p>The PAS is regarded as a safety relevant system whereas the CFA and communication device are non-safety relevant aids to passengers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><b>Railway applications.
