Scope<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1<\/span> This test method covers four types of laboratory tests to determine if a joint sealant has a probability of staining a porous substrate (such as marble, limestone, sandstone, and granite). The tests are on compressed samples and include (1<\/span>) storage under standard laboratory conditions, (2)<\/span> storage in an oven, and (3)<\/span> exposure in a fluorescent UV\/condensation device, and (4)<\/span> exposure in a xenon arc device.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1.2<\/span> The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
