This Standard specifies the steel sheets and strips (hereafter referred to as "sheets and coils") and corrugated sheets manufactured by processing steel sheets into the shape and dimensions specified in JIS G 3316, which are coated by a hot-dip aluminium-zinc alloy coating process.
The aluminium-zinc alloy composition by mass fraction is normally 5 % aluminium (including trace amount of magnesium, rare earth elements and the like) and the balance zinc.
