Description

This Standard specifies the hot-rolled carbon steel plates (hereafter referred to as "steel plates") to be used mainly for pressure vessels for intermediate and moderate temperature services.

NOTE: The International Standards corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

ISO 9328-1 : 2003 Steel fiat products for pressure purposes—Technical delivery conditions—Part 1: General requirements

ISO 9328-2 : 2004 Steel fiat products for pressure purposes—Technical delivery conditions—Part 2: Non-alloy and alloy steels with specified elevated temperature properties (Overall evaluation: MOD)

In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standards and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
