DIN 58959-6 Supplement 2:2022 Edition

DIN 58959-6 applies to all test organisms used as reference cultures, stock and working cultures or inoculum for quality assurance of medical microbiological diagnostics. DIN 58959-6 specifies the standardized cultivation, storage, provision and continuous control of test organisms used for quality assurance in order to enable reproducible results and reliable microbiological diagnostics. This supplement gives a summary of recommended test organisms for commonly used testing reagents, dyes and biological materials in microbiology.
